Travelex is the Official International Payments Provider of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. As part of a multi-year agreement between the parties, Travelex oversees a player payment program under which the Tour and Tour tournaments will use Travelex on an exclusive basis to pay out prize money to players for all Tour events. The program enables players to receive their prize money in the currency of their choice, with players receiving favorable treatment on rates and fees.

In 2009, Travelex launched a campaign encouraging clients to move from paper processes to electronically delivered invoices and payment requests. For every client that successfully converts to electronic delivery, Travelex will support the Arbor Day Foundation by planting a tree, with a goal of planting 10,000 trees.
