Travelex is recruiting a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to join its global Client Relationship Management team selling cutting edge, real time global payments systems to an assigned group of existing customers. The position will be located in our Toronto office. Description

The Client Relationship Manager position is an excellent opportunity for customer focused individuals to use their initiative and drive to produce extraordinary results. The position is responsible for overseeing and growing an account portfolio of high volume clients using a range of company tools to resolve account management and payment issues. There will be significant phone interaction with clients and documentation of orders and client status.

Responsibilities

  • CRMs are responsible for working closely with in-house teams (sales, customer-service, and marketing) as well as the virtual sales team to ensure seamless support for the client to jointly create an exceptional client experience, build customer loyalty and ultimately deliver unanticipated value
  • Responsible for their individual portfolio growth and the retention of their client base by utilizing business acumen to maximize sales opportunity.
  • Will seek out opportunities and focusing on expansion by making outbound calls, promoting products and services and retention of customer portfolio.
  • The CRM will proactively cross/up-sell products and services.
  • The position requires the ability to engage in a consultative sales process, analyze account activity and international payment needs to offer a range of appropriate solutions to support the client.
  • Develop proposals for key decision-makers to offer more appropriate solutions and analyze foreign payment needs to customize our global business payment systems.
  • Produce regular reporting and forecasting against overall targets and KPIs

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak and write French
  • 2 to 3 years minimum of relevant work experience (foreign exchange, payment services, sales, client management and/or customer service)
  • Proven ability to meet goals with a passion for sales
  • Ability to manage a book of business
  • General knowledge of financial markets
  • Strong technical skills and CRM tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Strong problem solving skills along with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, and can-do attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
